Each month the United States Customs and Immigration Service releases a series of webinars aimed at assisting hiring managers with compliant completion of the Form I-9, as well as information about the E-Verify process. The latest round of these informative Web presentations has been released.
The Form I-9 is an essential cog in the hiring machine, and the federal background verification program known as E-Verify is especially useful in helping business owners remain compliant. When used in tandem - in the proper way - each of these hiring resources can help you ensure your entire staff is legally employed. Utilized improperly, or incompletely, and the Form I-9 and E-Verify misuses can land a company in trouble. The USCIS webinars were introduced with the purpose of helping business owners remain compliant. Below are the dates for May's presentations:

These webinars offer the foundational instructions for completing the Form I-9.
